In this kit, you will find all the essentials for your nomadic moments: camping, picnics, hiking...
Folding/closing knives essential for their multiple uses.
The knives each have a blade that is made of martensitic stainless steel. The hardness of the blade is 55-57 HRC which gives it an excellent sharpness and high resistance to abrasion.
The handle of each knife is made of beech wood from French forests. It is resistant.
This kit contains:
- a #12 serrated knife for cutting all types of food
- a #10 corkscrew bottle opener: its blade, with a length of 10cmm is smooth, making it ideal for effectively cutting sausage, cheese, fruit, cold meats and other foods during an aperitif or picnic. Its 5-turn wick, which is on the handle, is professional and is made of stainless steel. You will be able to extract corks without damaging them. A steel rod allows you to uncap bottles and also to hang it.
- a pocket peeler n°6 for fruits and vegetables
- a small beech wood cutting board
- a small microfibre towel
Hand washing is recommended for these items. No special maintenance is required.
For greater safety, Marcel Opinel invented the Virobloc safety ring in 1955, cut from stainless steel. This ring is made up of two parts: one fixed, the other sliding. Thus, for greater safety during use, the blade can be locked in the open position. For transport safety, it can also be locked in the closed position.
