This collection is inspired by Cristel's past creations and in particular their first creations, in 1826. It was in fact, in their factory that the first stamped saucepan in the world was released on that date. 200 years have passed and Cristel decided to pay homage to this historic product and start from its design to create a new collection. Of course, Cristel took care to bring to this 1826 collection all the know-how and technical advances of our time.
This non-stick pan has a conical design, equipped with a 3-layer heat-diffusing base (stainless steel, aluminum, stainless steel), very efficient.
This background allows:
- optimal thermal efficiency
- very good and uniform heat distribution
- healthier cooking without added fat
- preservation of the temperature of the utensil during service.
Thus, as the heat distribution is uniform, you can easily cook many recipes simply and without adding materials fatty.
This non-stick pan has its bottom which is covered with an Excellis+ non-stick coating which is guaranteed without PFOA or PFOS. This will allow you to cook delicate foods such as fish, eggs or potatoes without them sticking.
The solid stainless steel used is brushed, which gives it an even more authentic and traditional touch.
The pouring rim is wide and very effective.
This frying pan is fixed: the flat heat-resistant handle is made of shiny solid cast stainless steel. It is firmly riveted.
This handle does not conduct heat to an induction or ceramic hob.
You can use your stove on a daily basis, which is compatible and usableon all heat sources, including induction and also in the oven.
This pan is a high-end utensil for easy everyday use.

Cookware manufacturer and France’s number one producer of cookware with removable handles and grips, CRISTEL story began life in France in 1849, when the first French pressed saucepan came out of Fesches-le-Châtel workshop and factory, the first CRISTEL production site. Quickly, the enamel branch gained in importance and the company became the second French industrial enterprise under the Second Empire. But in 1981, the manufacturer closed due to a succession of wars, political and economic transformations. Two years later, in 1983, former employees reopened the factory, first illegally then under a cooperative, and gave it a name: CRISTEL. The brand was born. In 1987, believing in the industry and in the factory true potential, Paul and Bernadette Dodane invested in the company and transformed it to a limited company. Their vision: to combine excellence, elegance, modernisation and innovation. Recognised now as a Living Heritage Company, CRISTEL offers a wide range of high-end luxury stainless steel products that are guaranteed for life and labelled « Origine France Garantie ».
