The Casteline Amovible collection features a stainless steel sauté pan with a mirror-finish finish. This frying pan is made from Multiply trilaminate, with a stainless steel/aluminium/stainless steel structure. It can be fitted with a removable handle (which you can also find on our website), making it practical and versatile.
The three superimposed layers of 18/10 stainless steel, aluminium and stainless steel ensure that the heat is distributed evenly throughout the body of the pan, and not just at the heat-diffusing base. This guarantees perfect heat distribution for evenly cooked food.
Casteline stainless steel sauté pans are ideal for searing meat, thanks to the quality of their heat-diffusing base. They allow perfect searing without the need for additional water or fat. What's more, the sauteuse is a versatile kitchen utensil that can be used for a multitude of culinary needs such as cooking, browning, browning, browning and simmering.
The stainless steel sauté pan from the Casteline Amovable collection is also designed to be used as a serving dish. It can be transported from the kitchen to the table by adding two extra handles. So you can present your dishes directly at the table in style.
However, if you want to grill fish or potatoes, we recommend that you use a Casteline frying pan with a non-stick coating, specially designed for these types of food. You can refer to the relevant product sheet for more information.
Casteline frying pans, made from 18/10 stainless steel, preserve the flavour of the food during cooking. What's more, they're easy to clean after use thanks to their stainless steel finish.
This sautepan requires a removable handle or handles for optimum use. This turns the sauteuse into a practical serving dish and makes it easy to store.
In terms of compatibility, the Casteline Removable Sauteuse is compatible with a variety of heat sources, including induction hobs, gas hobs, ceramic hobs and electric hobs. What's more, it can be used in the oven or on the grill and is dishwasher safe.

Cookware manufacturer and France’s number one producer of cookware with removable handles and grips, CRISTEL story began life in France in 1849, when the first French pressed saucepan came out of Fesches-le-Châtel workshop and factory, the first CRISTEL production site. Quickly, the enamel branch gained in importance and the company became the second French industrial enterprise under the Second Empire. But in 1981, the manufacturer closed due to a succession of wars, political and economic transformations. Two years later, in 1983, former employees reopened the factory, first illegally then under a cooperative, and gave it a name: CRISTEL. The brand was born. In 1987, believing in the industry and in the factory true potential, Paul and Bernadette Dodane invested in the company and transformed it to a limited company. Their vision: to combine excellence, elegance, modernisation and innovation. Recognised now as a Living Heritage Company, CRISTEL offers a wide range of high-end luxury stainless steel products that are guaranteed for life and labelled « Origine France Garantie ».
