EMILE HENRY manufactures this mortar with pestle in France.

Heavy and very stable, you can grind various condiments without having to hold it firmly. All the textures and flavors of your food/condiments (garlic, herbs, spices, etc.) will be preserved.

The pestle (made of ceramic and birch wood) is very ergonomic and allows you to crush, crush and crumble without making too much effort.

So that the food "clings" well to the walls and so that it is easier to crush them, the inside of the mortar and the end of the pestle are slightly rough.

Its interior enamel makes it easier to grind food. Also, ceramic does not absorb aromas.
