The CRISTEL story began in 1826 with the construction of the Casserie in the Feschotte valley.
Very quickly, the enamelling branch grew in importance within the group and became France's largest enamelling industry, producing street signs, enamelled advertising plaques, and cooking, household and medical utensils.
In 1983, a workers' cooperative was set up by former employees. And in 1987, CRISTEL became a public limited company created on the initiative of a couple who believed in the potential of the brand and the Lafeschotte factories.
Their vision of a high-quality product and their original concept of a removable handle were to be decisive factors in the company's future.
Today, CRISTEL is celebrating the success that has rewarded so many years of effort and reconstruction.
The brand has now earned its letters of nobility. Its collections are eagerly awaited and talked about.
