Brushed stainless steel frying pan, non-stick, made in France by CRISTEL and part of the 1826 Collection.
This collection draws inspiration from Cristel's past creations, notably their very first designs from 1826. Indeed, it was in their factory that the world's first stamped saucepan was produced in that year. 200 years have passed, and Cristel has decided to pay tribute to this historic product by using its design as the basis for a new collection. Of course, Cristel has ensured that the 1826 collection benefits from all the expertise and technical advances of our time.
This non-stick frying pan features a conical design with a 3-layer thermo-diffuser base (stainless steel, aluminium, stainless steel), which is highly efficient.
This base provides :
- optimal thermal efficiency
- excellent and even heat distribution
- healthier cooking without added fat
- retention of the utensil's temperature during serving.
Thanks to the uniform heat distribution, you can easily cook many recipes simply and without adding fats.
The base of this non-stick pan is coated with an Excellis+ non-stick coating guaranteed free from PFOA and PFOS. This allows you to cook delicate foods such as fish, eggs, or potatoes without sticking.
The solid stainless steel used is brushed, giving it an even more authentic and traditional look.
The pouring rim is wide and very effective.
This frying pan is fixed: the flat heat-resistant handle is made of polished solid stainless steel. It is securely riveted.
This handle does not conduct heat on induction or ceramic hobs.
You can use your frying pan daily as it is compatible with and suitable for all heat sources, including induction, and also oven safe.

Cookware manufacturer and France’s number one producer of cookware with removable handles and grips, CRISTEL story began life in France in 1849, when the first French pressed saucepan came out of Fesches-le-Châtel workshop and factory, the first CRISTEL production site. Quickly, the enamel branch gained in importance and the company became the second French industrial enterprise under the Second Empire. But in 1981, the manufacturer closed due to a succession of wars, political and economic transformations. Two years later, in 1983, former employees reopened the factory, first illegally then under a cooperative, and gave it a name: CRISTEL. The brand was born. In 1987, believing in the industry and in the factory true potential, Paul and Bernadette Dodane invested in the company and transformed it to a limited company.
