Emile Henry manufactures in France the rice casserole, stewpot, in ceramic.
For perfectly cooked rice, while respecting tastes and textures, this pot will be the perfect cooking utensil.
Whether to cook long, round, Thai or not, wild, white or whole rice, this pot is inspired by traditional Japanese pots, donabes.
The heat of the fire is gently diffused thanks to the thick walls of the pot, for uniform cooking of each grain of rice, while retaining moisture. Thus, 1/3 of the cooking is done off the heat, thanks to the thermal properties of ceramic.
Nutrients are retained.
You can also use this Dutch oven for cooking grains and quinoa...
This stewpot is in 3 pieces:
- Tank
- Intermediate cover, interior and perforated
- Lid
The perforated interior lid is very practical, it:
- avoids overflows
- brings to a boil more quickly
- slightly pressurizes the pot
- keeps the steam close to the rice for perfect cooking
- allows for even cooking
- prevents drying on the upper part
Its Flame ceramic promises excellent heat diffusion, for even and controlled cooking.
