OPINEL Collection box 10 Tradition knives - carbon or stainless steel

Box of 10 knives from the TRADITION collection made in France by OPINEL.

For collectors and fans of Opinel folding knives, this wooden box contains 10 knives from the TRADITION collection.

You will find 10 knives of different sizes.

2 boxes are available:

- with STAINLESS STEEL blade:

made of martensitic stainless steel. The hardness of the blade is 55-57 HRC which gives it a very good cutting edge and high resistance to abrasion.

- with CARBON blade:

made of carbon steel: a non-alloy steel, with a high carbon content allowing to obtain after the heat treatment operation the excellent hardness which guarantees a perfect holding of the cutting edge as well as a high resistance to wear and easy resharpening. However, carbon steel has a low resistance to corrosion by humidity.

Folding, this closing knife has a VIROBLOC safety ring. This system allows the blade to be locked in the open position for safety during use and it can be locked in the closed position for secure transport.

Its handle is made ofbeech wood, from French forests, it is resistant and is varnished to better protect it against humidity.

Hand washing is essential for this knife. No special maintenance is required.
