LA BOITE JAUNE 1945 Letterbox - 8 Colors

La Boîte Jaune offers an official model of letterbox used by the French Post Office since 1945. It is produced by the Dejoie foundry, the official foundry of La Poste, located in Nantes.

Made in France, this letterbox is wall-mounted, making it ideal for use both inside and outside your home. However, it is mainly considered a decorative item rather than practical, as the opening slot is not compatible with A4-sized mail.

Manufactured from aluminium, the La Boîte 1945 has a usable volume of 11 dm³.

It is available in 8 different colours:

- khaki

- white

- glossy

- anthracite grey

- black

- red

- yellow

- terra cotta

The paint used is a combination of primer and glossy polyurethane lacquer, ensuring durability over time. The glossy finish adds an attractive aesthetic to this letterbox.

It comes with a moisture- and insect-proof bottom grille, a stainless steel Pass PTT lock with 2 keys, 3 M10 wall plugs, 3 M10 coach screws, and 3 washers for wall mounting.

The dimensions of the letterbox are 42.3 cm x 27.6 cm x 17 cm, making it a medium size.

This letterbox is an excellent choice for those looking to add a vintage and nostalgic touch to their outdoor or indoor décor.

It is possible to personalise this letterbox (family name, place, number, company...). Please contact our sales department if you wish to arrange personalisation.
