Staub Cocotte 34cm - 2 colors

This STAUB enamelled cast iron round casserole measures 34 cm in diameter, with a capacity of 12.60 litres. It is ideal for preparing simmered dishes, roasts, poultry and even bread for a large table of 10 people or more. This unique piece is a true French creation, with an elaborate design and optimised weight. Its flat lid with its marked outline has excellent moisture retention properties and, thanks to its picots®, ensures a homogeneous sprinkling of flavours for dishes that simmer for a long time.

The interior of this cooker is STAUB's trademark matt black enamel, which makes it scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Cast iron, an iron alloy rich in carbon, is one of the best heat-retaining materials, spreading the heat slowly and distributing it evenly. Once the cast iron is hot enough, its heat retention properties allow the fire to be reduced to a minimum, so that dishes can be simmered gently. This cooker can be used on all burners, including induction, and in the oven. It can also be placed in the refrigerator before serving and kept cold at the table, thanks to its cold resistance of -20.00ºC.
