The Tube is a pressure plunger that offers versatility comparable to that of traditional pastry bags. It is very practical in common tasks such as filling, topping and decoration, while offering the added benefit of allowing precise dosing. It is particularly effective for handling thick preparations such as creams, thick mousses and choux pastry.

Using the Debuyer Tube is extremely simple: pressing on the handle is enough to release a precise dose of preparation. In addition, a wheel with graduations in centiliters (cl) and ounces (oz) allows you to precisely adjust the quantity you wish to dispense.

The Tube is equipped with a transparent container graduated in cl and oz, with a capacity of 0.75 liters, facilitating filling while allowing you to monitor the remaining preparation level . Its flexible syringe system intelligently adapts to the quantity of preparation in the container, allowing the flow to be interrupted between two pressures, which guarantees total control over the process.

In addition,the Tube lids are equipped with a practical “quarter turn” closing system, ensuring quick and simplified assembly.

By purchasing the Tube, you receive a special shortbread making kit, which includes two airtight lids, a cap/disc holder, and 13 removable stainless steel discs to create a variety of original shortbreads, as well as only for the preparation of choux pastry.

The Tube is also delivered with two sockets: a plain socket type U8 (11 mm) and a splined socket type D8 (11 mm, 8 teeth). These tips are compatible with de Buyer's transparent TRITAN tips, and they are interchangeable for greater flexibility in your pastry preparations.
